Who we are

reframe, operated by Alejandro Ruiz from Mexico City, is responsible for the personal data collected through this site. Contact: info@re-frame.design.

Data we collect

We collect only what you give us and, once you agree to it, how the site is used:

• →Contact details you give us: name, email, and company.
• →Enquiry form answers: service, timeline, budget range, and your message.
• →Usage data, if you accept analytics: pages, panels, bookings, reading depth.
• →Aggregate traffic counts that identify nobody and use no cookies.

How we use it

To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver contracted services, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and analytics

Nothing is measured about you until you choose it. On your first visit the site asks, in a small notice, and collects nothing at all unless you accept. Declining costs you no content and no functionality.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. It stores first-party cookies to recognise a returning visit, and records the usage data listed above. If you decline, neither is ever loaded and no request reaches Google.

Whichever you choose, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views without cookies, without an identifier, and without anything that could single you out. That is the only measurement running before you decide, which is why it needs no consent.

The site also stores your theme and layout preferences in your browser so it can honour them next time. Those never leave your device and measure nothing.

You can change your mind at any time. Once you have chosen, Cookie Preferences appears in the footer of every page and re-opens the notice with both options exactly as you first saw them.

Third-party services

We name our processors rather than describe them in general terms: Vercel (hosting, and the cookieless traffic counts above), Google (Analytics and Tag Manager, only with your consent), and Cal.com (scheduling, which handles a call you book and the details you enter).

All three are based in the United States, so accepting analytics or booking a call involves an international transfer of data. They act on our instructions and under their own safeguards. We run no advertising and no profiling of any kind.

Data retention

Enquiries and project data are kept while the relationship is active, and for the time needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner by writing to info@re-frame.design.

Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Your consent decision itself is stored only in your own browser, and nowhere else.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and enquiries are stored in our own database rather than a third-party form service. Access is limited to the people who need it for the engagement. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we say so plainly rather than promise otherwise.

Your rights

Under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), you can exercise your ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition) at any time by writing to info@re-frame.design. We respond within the timeframes the law establishes.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights, including the right to withdraw consent to analytics at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and costs you nothing on this site.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy as the site or the law evolves. The current version is always available at this address.
